I worked as a volunteer in the seventh Swedish Language Technology Conference, Stockholm, 7-9 November 2018. I was very new in Stockholm at that time. The other volunteers, Johanna, Jacqueline, Adam, and Murathan were very helpful, cordial, and welcoming to me. I especially loved the snowy Stockholm University’s Frescati campus, the fashionable and mighty Aula Magna, the cozy and nostalgic Juristernas Hus. I learned a lot from the conference chair Professor Mats Wirén, Department of Linguistics regarding how to efficiently organize such a big event. The banquet was held at Stora Skuggans Värdshus. The destination path from the Aula Magna to there was quite a dream-like journey during that foggy night of 8 November. I loved and enjoyed it throughout the whole conference time.
